Tesco reveals its Christmas food menu including sticky toffee cheese and an espresso martini dessert

TESCO has revealed its Christmas food menu, featuring sticky toffee cheese and espresso martini desserts as well as all the usual festive trimmings. With the big day still months away, it’s never too early to start planning that festive food list. Tesco’s Finest British Free Range Heritage Narragansett Whole Turkey will be available in stores next month You’ll be able to get your hands on a turkey from September 19, when the supermarket puts its Tesco Finest version on sale. However, the supermarket will launch most of its Christmas range in November. Families of four will be able to eat a three course meal for as little as £24 a head. Cheddar cheese infused with toffee pieces, dates and raisins. This will be a hit with everyone from those with a sweet tooth to cheese lovers, it is definitely one to try this winter. The fondue comes topped with a pecorino and rosemary crumb which is said to add a slight crunch and punch of flavour. Tesco Finest British free range turkey Available: September 19 The Christmas staple will be available to buy in stores next month. Tesco’s Heritage Narragansett Whole turkey will set you back £12 a kilo. However, it’ll comfortably feed between 10 and 12 people. This traditionally farmed heritage bird is reared in East Anglia, where it benefits from lush pastures and a varied, nutritious diet. The turkey is also self-basting so will stay succulent during cooking and leave you with less work in the kitchen. Tesco Finest espresso martini dessert Available: December 12 The dessert will be available in store right before Christmas At only £9, you’ll have enough of the dessert to feed 10 hungry heads. The dessert comes with a Belgian chocolate and coffee sauce topped with an espresso martini-soaked vanilla sponge layered with Belgian white chocolate mousse and a Belgian white chocolate ganache layer. It’s then finished with coffee-flavoured chocolate beans for a decadent Christmas dessert.
