Oatly launches whippable cream and vegan cream cheese-style spreads

Launching exclusively at Tesco, Oatly’s new whippable cream is here to save the day for plant-based bakers across the UK! According to Oatly, Whippable Creamy Oat (£1.20) is “the one you’ve been waiting for” as it whips up to create a light and fluffy cream so you can make delicious cream cakes, desserts and more all without the dairy. In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Ishen Paran, General Manager at Oatly UK said that the company is “increasingly looking for ways to give people a great tasting alternative to use throughout the cooking process.” The versatile new products have been designed to be used in cooking to enhance dishes and make them super creamy that this will open up “the potential for a variety of new plant-based recipes and meals for our consumers.” You’ll find the full line up of three new Creamy Oat Spreads available for £1.80 in Tesco.
