There’s a mac and cheese candle at Marshalls, and it’s all we can think about

Marshalls is selling macaroni and cheese-scented candles, and we need to know if it smells like the good stuff or if it’s going to be more along the lines of inhaling cheese powder. The mac and cheese candle is made by DW Home and has a burn time of 33 hours. The brand describes the scent as being “macaroni pasta layered with a cheddar, gruyère and parmesan cheese sauce,” which sounds great until you realize you can’t actually eat it.If mac and cheese isn’t really your thing, they also have candles that smell like mashed potatoes, a roll and “Thanksgiving Dinner,” all of which have been spotted among the shelves at TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods.Imagine if invited your whole family over for Thanksgiving and then just had these candles burning instead of an actual meal? NOLA gondola, in New Orleans, has us covered.Since March 2004, founder Robert Dula has been stirring up a little of that Venetian charm and romance by offering picturesque gondola rides in his own neck of the woods — New Orleans’ City Park. During the 50-minute ride, guests are able to relax with a glass of wine on an authentic Italian gondola, built in Venice, and enjoy gorgeous water views as Dula takes them for a tour around the park’s grounds. If that sounds all kinds of romantic to you, you aren’t alone. By 2019, Dula said he had witnessed more than 600 proposals over the years, according to verylocal.com. A ride for two is $100, but up to six people can ride the gondola should you prefer to make it a party. Admission is only $10 for each extra person.
