CheeseFest returning in 2021 to celebrate all things cheese • Glam Adelaide

CheeseFest will be returning for another year at Rymill Park, and it’s sure to be a hit.  People can expect the event to be reminiscent of past CheeseFests with a plethora of activities, such as speed cheese tastings, cheese matching sessions with wine, beer and gin, and best of all, oodles of opportunities to taste the best cheeses and fermented products from South Australia and across the country. In previous years, CheeseFest has also welcomed many celebrity guests to lead demonstrations, such as Maggie Beer, Matt Preston, Simon Bryant, Jessie Spiby and Callum Hann and Emma McAskill, just to name a few.  There will of course be a whole host of food offerings available for attendees to indulge on, all focusing around, you guessed it, cheese! The 2020 CheeseFest saw initial plans modified due to the pandemic. Instead of occurring at Rymill Park, they moved to The Market Shed on Holland and rebranded to Gather & Graze.  Despite downsizing, the event was still a huge success, with live cooking demonstrations, chef stalls, niche bars and delicious produce filling up the temporary home.  “Despite many challenges last year, we were thrilled with the success of our Gather & Graze 2020 but are looking forward to returning to our fully ‘matured’ annual festival this year at Rymill Park,” share the organisers.  This year’s CheeseFest promises to have even more ‘pizzazz’, so we can’t wait to see what’s in store.  The details are still being ironed out, so be sure to stay tuned for more information.  For further details, check out their website.
